Application of BMP4 protein in preparation of medicine for treating or preventing pulmonary fibrosis
The invention discloses a preparation method of a bone morphogenetic protein 4 (Bone Morphogenetic Protein 4; the invention discloses application of BMP4 protein in preparation of a medicine for treating or preventing pulmonary fibrosis, and belongs to the technical field of biological medicine. The BMP4 protein is a free BMP4 protein or a recombinant vector expressing the BMP4 protein, and the recombinant vector expressing the BMP4 protein comprises a vector which comprises or carries a polynucleotide encoding the BMP4 protein. The BMP4 protein can inhibit proliferation of lung fibroblasts, promote apoptosis of the lung fibroblasts and inhibit transformation of the lung fibroblasts to muscle fibroblasts. The results show that the BMP4 can be targeted to treat or prevent the pulmonary fibrosis, and a new method is provided for treating and preventing the pulmonary fibrosis..
