Application of two circular RNAs
The invention discloses an application of two circular RNAs (Ribonucleic Acid), and hsacircRNA405498 and hsacircRNA100033 can be used as biomarkers of circular RNAs (circRNAs) in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) of patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1D) and are used for developing biomarkers and kits for clinical early diagnosis of the T1D. The HsacircRNA405498 level and the HsacircRNA100033 level in PBMC (peripheral blood mononuclear cells) of a T1D patient are remarkably reduced, and the HsacircRNA405498 level and the HsacircRNA100033 level have remarkable differences from LADA (latent autoimmune diabetes mellitus) and T2D (type 2 diabetes) patients and NGT (normal glucose tolerance) of adults, and can be clinically used as diagnostic biomarkers for diagnosis and differential diagnosis of the T1D patient. In addition, the overexpressed hsacircRNA405498 also has the potential of treating the type 1 diabetes mellitus..
