METHODS AND COMPOSITIONS FOR TREATING INFLAMMATION INJURY IN THE LUNGS
Compositions and methods related to the treatment of acute lung injury (ALI) and acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) including viral pneumonia (such as COVID-19 pneumonia) wherein the subject has a PaO2/FiO2 (P/F) ratio of less than 200, comprising an intracellular calcium signaling inhibitor (such as Auxora), either alone or in combination with a corticosteroid and/or an immunosuppressive drag are disclosed. Such compositions and methods may be used to reduce pro-inflammatory cytokine releases that may lead to ALI and/or ARDS..
