SARS-COV-2 ANTIBODY, AGENT AND METHOD FOR TREATING DISEASES CAUSED BY SARS-COV-2
The group of inventions relates to the field of biotechnology, immunology and virology. Claimed is a humanized monoclonal antibody which binds specifically to the RBD of the S protein of the SARS-CoV-2 virus and exhibits virus-neutralizing activity, as well as an agent and a method for the treatment and post-exposure prophylaxis of diseases caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. The humanized monoclonal antibody has a heavy chain amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:1 and a light chain amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:2. The group of inventions allows the creation of a humanized monoclonal antibody that exhibits virus-neutralizing and protective activity relative to different strains of the SARS-CoV-2 virus..
