125I orbit tumor close-range therapeutic device

The invention discloses a < 125I > orbit tumor close-range therapeutic device which is composed of a miniature low-energy photon source, a flexible source support and a metal source shell. The miniature low-energy photon source is a 125I (or 103Pd) seed source (also known as a seed source) emitting low-energy gamma rays. The therapeutic apparatus has the biggest characteristic that the therapeutic apparatus can be temporarily fixed on the sclera of the eyeball wall of a patient, and can be accurately positioned in an operation by utilizing the'support 'or called'platform', so that the orbital tumor can be directionally irradiated at a short distance. The method not only can be used for auxiliary radiotherapy after tumor operation, but also can be used for direct irradiation of orbit tumors. The therapeutic apparatus provides a safe, effective, accurate and economical close-range therapeutic technology for orbital tumor patients..
