USE OF 2"-O-RHAMNOSYL ICARISIDE II IN MUSCLE REPAIR AND REGENERATION
Provided in the present invention is the use of 2"-O-rhamnosyl icariside II in the preparation of a drug for muscle repair and regeneration. Specifically, provided is the use of 2"-O-rhamnosyl icariside II in the preparation of a drug or a reagent for treating or preventing muscle diseases, promoting muscle repair or promoting muscle regeneration. The muscle injury is a traumatic muscle injury or non-traumatic muscle injury. The non-traumatic muscle injury is selected from myogenic muscular atrophy, disuse muscular atrophy, muscular dystrophy, sarcopenia, myopathy and myasthenia. The present invention proves for the first time the role of 2"-O-rhamnosyl icariside II in promoting the proliferation or differentiation of muscle cells, increasing the number of myotubes, promoting the formation of myotubes, increasing the length and width of myotubes, promoting the differentiation of myoblasts, promoting the fusion of muscle cells, etc..
