Compositions and methods for modulating follicular formation to treat ovarian aging
Provided herein are methods and compositions related to modified proteins of anti-mullerian hormone (AMH) for modulating follicular production in women, in particular for modulating activation and maturation of follicles as well as depletion of immature (original) follicles. In certain embodiments, a method is disclosed. Modulation or inhibition of follicular production in a female can treat ovarian aging, suspend or slow ovarian aging, and/or delay the onset of menopause and/or symptoms associated with menopause, premature ovarian failure caused by gonad toxicity therapy, or diseases or conditions caused by genetic mutations in genes that modulate follicular production and ovarian biology..
