Bovine antibacterial peptide gene Cath as well as preparation method and application thereof
The invention provides a bovine antibacterial peptide gene Cath, a preparation method thereof and application of the gene in preparation of antibacterial drugs, vaccines or feed additives for livestock and poultry. The bovine antibacterial peptide gene Cath has a nucleotide sequence as shown in SEQ ID NO: 1. According to the invention, pichia pastoris is used for recombinant expression of Caht, so that a target recombinant Caht gene is modified and processed after being translated, and the recombinant Caht gene is closer to a Caht protein expressed in bovine; the Caht gene is integrated onto a pichia pastoris chromosome and is copied along with the copying of the chromosome, and is not easy to lose; the expressed Caht gene has a good bacteriostatic effect, and saccharomycetes containing the gene contain various nutrient substances necessary for growth and development of animals and can be used as a high-quality protein source to be added into feeds for bovine, sheep, chickens, pigs, aquatic products and the like..
