COLD-ADAPTED ATTENUATION DONOR, STRAIN OF INFLUENZA VIRUS B/SSSR/60/69/5252, INTENDED FOR PRODUCTION OF STRAINS OF LIVE INTRANASAL INFLUENZA VACCINE
FIELD: medicine; biotechnology.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical virology and biotechnology. Described is an influenza strain B/SSSR/60/69/5252, obtained as result of 3-fold cloning in developing chicken embryos of a known attenuation donor B/SSSR/60/69. Strain actively propagates in chicken embryos at optimum temperature of 32 °C, is characterized by genetic homogeneity, temperature sensitivity and cold adaptation of reproduction, stability of properties and harmlessness and attenuation for laboratory animals.EFFECT: use of a pure line of attenuation donor B/SSSR/ 60/69/5252 for reassortment with regularly updated epidemic influenza viruses allows to guarantee stability of characteristics of attenuated strains for live influenza vaccine in accordance with Pharmacopoeia Monograph FSP 42-0417-4097-03 for a live influenza vaccine for intranasal use and can be used in the production of a live influenza intranasal cold-adapted attenuated reassortant vaccine for adults and children.1 cl, 8 tbl, 6 ex.
