ANTIBODY PRODUCED BY USING AFUCOSYLATED N.BENTHAMIANA AND USES THEREOF
The present invention relates to an antibody produced using afucosylated N.benthamiana and uses thereof. It was confirmed that the antibody produced using afucosylated N.benthamiana according to the present invention has a sugar chain in a different form from that of an antibody produced using existing animal cells, and that fucose is not present in the sugar chain of the antibody. In addition, it was confirmed that the antibody having the modified sugar chain according to the present invention exhibits superior anticancer effects than the antibody produced using existing animal cells. Therefore, the antibody having the modified sugar chain according to the present invention can be usefully used for the prevention or treatment of cancer..
