METHOD FOR DETECTING SKIN CANCER AND APPARATUS USING THE SAME
According to the present invention, a method for detecting skin cancer is provided. The method comprises: a step in which a computing device divides an n-dimensional image corresponding to a search target into a plurality of patches and flattens the plurality of patches in a column-wise manner to generate an n-1 dimensional vector; a step in which the computing device performs an embedding operation in the D dimension using an embedding matrix (E) for each of the plurality of patches included in the vector and adds a position matrix (Epos) to a resulting value of the operation to generate a plurality of embedded patches; a step in which the computing device performs an operation on the plurality of embedded patches in a transformer encoder including a layer norm operation, a multi-head attention operation, and a multilayer perceptron (MLP) operation; and a step in which the computing device determines whether the image contains skin cancer using the result of the transformer encoder.
