To execute a maintenance request at an appropriate timing.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus according to an embodiment comprises: an estimation unit; a searching unit; a calculation unit; and a presentation unit. The estimation unit estimates, based on the state of a plurality of components constituting a medical device, a failure sign component representing a failure sign and the time of failure of the failure sign component. The searching unit searches for, based on a reservation state of the medical device and the time related to maintenance work of the failure sign component, the date on which the maintenance work can be executed before the time of failure is reached as a maintenance candidate date. The calculation unit calculates the price of maintenance for the maintenance candidate date based on a cost for the failure sign component and a cost for the maintenance work. The presentation unit presents the failure sign component, the time of failure, the maintenance candidate date, and the price of maintenance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1.
