An applicator including a cylindrical sleeve and a plunger, which both extend along a common longitudinal axis, wherein the sleeve includes a first end side and a second end side, which is located opposite the first end side, wherein the second end side has formed on it, on the inner side of the sleeve, a first cylindrical shoulder, on which the sleeve can be arranged on a cylindrical container, wherein the first shoulder is followed by a second cylindrical shoulder, in which a complementary cylindrical piston of the plunger is arranged in a displaceable manner, wherein a channel is provided, and extends through the entire plunger along the longitudinal axis, wherein the first end side has formed on it, on the inner side of the sleeve, a third cylindrical shoulder, in which a complementary cylindrical shank of the plunger is arranged in a displaceable manner..
