PROCESS AND APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING REACTIVE SPECIES OF OXYGEN AND / OR NITROGEN IN LIQUID SOLUTION OR IN GAS FORM

A process for the production of reactive oxygen and/or nitrogen species (RONS) provides the feeding of a gas mixture consisting essentially of oxygen and any of its allotropic forms to an ionization chamber of a plasma sputtering device (24) which is operated at a low level of energy so that the electrons bombed gas mixture is transformed into a plasma containing RONS, extracted and withdrawn for use or preferably fed to a semipermeable membrane filter (14) disposed to be also fed with a fluid for injectable solutions, so that RONS present in said plasma can enter solution into the fluid for injectable solutions which is then conveyed and collected at the outlet. The process is advantageously implemented by an apparatus comprising a gas transport circuit (12) comprising: an oxygen source (21), a plasma sputtering device (24), feeding organs (23) of oxygen based gas mixture to a ionization chamber of the plasma sputtering device (24), plasma collection means (25) for collecting plasma from said ionization chamber; and a fluid transport circuit (11) comprising a fluid reservoir (13) for injectable solutions, a semipermeable membrane filter (14) in which is inserted also the plasma extracted from the plasma device (24), a peristaltic pump (15) and storage or supply means (19)..
