APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PREDICTING CHRONIC OBSTRUCTIVE PULMONARY DISEASE, AND SYSTEM THEREFOR
The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for predicting chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and a system therefor. To this end, an apparatus for predicting chronic obstructive pulmonary disease according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a communication unit that receives a patient's biometric information from at least one user terminal in order to predict chronic obstructive pulmonary disease; and a processor electrically connected to the communication unit, wherein the processor calculates respective scores for the age, sex, obesity, smoking history, and dyspnea of the patient on the basis of the received biometric information, and determines that the patient is a patient with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease if the ratio (FEV1/FVC) of forced expiratory volume in one second (FEV1) to forced vital capacity (FVC) is less than a predetermined value on the basis of the sum of the respective calculated scores, and transmits the determination result to the user terminal..
