The Fisheries of Great Britain and Brexit
On April 9, 2018, the European Commission announced the termination of the European Union fisheries and aquaculture regulations for the UK after the country’s withdrawal from the EU at the end of March 2019. The Government and the Conservative Party of Great Britain declare new opportunities for the development of fishing in the country after the withdrawal from the EU. However, there is a need to assess the risks for the UK fishing industry and constructively approach the construction of a new fishing policy after Brexit..
