ANTIBIOTICS UTILIZATION AND ANTIMICROBIAL RESISTANCE

Antibiotics have had a profound impact on humanity’s health, by improving our ability to prevent, cure and reduce the transmission of many infectious diseases. However the phenomenon of antimicrobial resistance reduces widespread use possibility of relatively new groups of medical remedies. It is widely known, that the unnecessary or inappropriate use of antibiotics, occurs up to 50% of prescriptions only in the United States and Canada. Fortunately all negative impacts on the human health of irrational use of antibiotics and antimicrobial retention are roughly to imagine. Based on the conducted research, there were proposed recommendations for improving the rational use of antibiotics and retention of antimicrobial resistance. However we are aware that only a systemic approach to those important problems that is facing mankind and a robust activity everywhere will crown with innovative solutions..
