ELEMENTS OF DRUTIAN CHARACTER’S CONSTRUCTION: ETHNIC IDENTITY AND HUMAN ESSENCE
In terms of the literary characters’ construction, in the Ion Druță’s prose and dramaturgy, there is an affinity with the models of Ion Creangă, Mihail Sadoveanu and Liviu Rebreanu. In this sense, the impact of the Crengian, Sadovenian and Rebreanian narrative models on the Druţian characters is highlighted. At the same time, some theses of the literary criticism regard the preference of the Bessarabian prose writer for the past, folklore, tradition, lyrical formula, language and popular mentality, through which the author creates an authentic, living world, in the hermeneutic substance of which the general human problems are essentialized..
