La incorporación del médico de la familia al sistema de vigilancia en salud
Se realizó un estudio descriptivo dirigido a identificar las necesidades de aprendizaje sobre vigilancia en Salud entre los Médicos de Familia que laboran en el Policlínico "Aleida Fernández Chardiet", del municipio La Lisa. Se llegó a la conclusión de que a pesar de ser la Vigilancia en Salud un trabajo priorizado por el Ministerio de Salud Pública, y constituir una herramienta indispensable para alcanzar los objetivos, propósitos y directrices para el año 2000, los Médicos de Familia no habían recibido el adiestramiento necesario para realizar esta función. Se comprobó la existencia entre los médicos de un alto grado de desestimulación y desinterés por su labor asistencial, y que a su vez están sometidos a una elevada sobrecarga administrativa, factores estos que obstaculizan seriamente su desempeño en la labor de Vigilancia en Salud<br<A descriptive study was conducted aimed at identifying the needs of learning about health surveillance among the family physicians working at the "Aleida Fernández Chardiet". Polyclinic, in "La Lisa" municipality. It was concluded that in spite of the fact that health surveillance is a priority for the Ministry of Public Health, and is also an indispensable tool to attain the goals, purposes and guidelines in 2000, the family physicians have not received the necessary training to carry out this function. It was proved that most of the family physicians do not feel stimulated and are not interested in the assistance work, and that also have an administrative overload. These factors seriously impede their participation in health surveillance.
