El ingreso en el hogar: dificultades para la ejecución del proceso de atención de enfermería en un área de salud
Con el propósito de identificar las dificultades gerenciales que presenta el proceso de atención de enfermería (PAE) en el procedimiento de Ingreso en el Hogar en el área de salud "Ángel Arturo Aballí", del municipio Habana Vieja, se realizó un estudio en el mes de marzo del año 2001, de tipo descriptivo cualitativo, utilizando como universo el total del personal de enfermería que trabaja en los consultorios del área. Los resultados fundamentales plantean dificultades con recursos, como la escasez de material de cura, la falta de medicamentos e instrumental, así como dificultades con el tiempo disponible para la ejecución del PAE, por la interferencia con otras tareas asignadas de forma urgente y no planificadas. Finalmente se precisó que el personal de enfermería del área conoce los lineamientos que utilizan los médicos para decidir el ingreso domiciliario.<br<With the objective of identifying the general difficulties found in the process of nursing care(PNC) provided in the home care service "Angel Arturo Aballí" located in Habana Vieja municipality, a descriptive and qualitative study was conducted on March, 2001 in which the universe of study was the nursing staff working in the various physician´s medical offices in the area. The fundamental results achieved were: shortage of material resources such as cure material, lack of medicines and medical implements, as well as difficulties in devoting time to the performance of PNC since nurses have to carry out other assigned tasks that are often urgent and unplanned. Finally, the paper states that the nursing staff of the area has knowledge about the guidelines followed by physicians to decide upon the home care option..
