Viagem pelo imaginário do interior feminino
Esse artigo não se pretende uma pesquisa completa ou uma parcela acabada da história do corpo feminino. O fato de que deste tema emanam tantos problemas, indica a extensão do campo a ser explorado, bem como aquele das diversas abordagens utilizadas nas pesquisas em andamento. Não pretendo entrar nas controvérsias epistemológicas sobre a questão, mas, simplesmente, rascunhar uma história dos corpos femininos a partir das representações predominantemente médicas do século XVIII.<br<This article do not pretend to form a complete survey or to definy a compact portion of the history of women's body. The fact that so many problems are addressed only indicates the extends of the field to be explored and marks the several approches on the ongoing investigations. I shall not enter directly into these controversies, but I simply want to sketch the history of whow female bodies where represented in predominantly medical literature during the XVIIIth century..
