Clothing Comfort of Medical Personal Protective Equipment During COVID-19

Clothing Comfort of Medical Personal Protective Equipment during COVID-19 PanademicAbstractThere is no doubt that personal protective equipment ( PPE ) has a very important and effective role in the medical sector , particularly in cases of dealing with epidemics and infectious diseases such as the Covid - 19 epidemic , therefore in this paper , we report PPE levels , medical wear design characteristics and its’ material . The aim of this work was to highlight the problems facing health-care workers in some ( regions ) parts of the Arab world with regard to protective clothing . In this research , the methodology was based on interviews and a questionnaire for medical personnel ( physicians & nurses ) to find out what they were exposed to ( suffering ) when wearing PPE and their needs for protective clothing . The data obtained have been directed to several aspects that will provide comfort when wearing protective clothing such as sizes , don & doff of PPE and comfort compliance . The research has found that the physiology of wearing protective clothing is the most important factor of comfort , about 70 % of respondents were found to be experiencing heat pressure at room temperature of between 20 - 30 °C , followed by an emphasis on the various aspects that should be taken into account when designing and manufacturing medical clothing for medical kits , and an overview of how to reduce the temperature of the wearer of protective clothing, vaporize glasses and some other important questions related to personal equipment ..
