Aiming at the expert system, which is a relatively intelligent program diagnosis system for equipment fault diagnosis in coal preparation plant, the design process and application test effect of the system are analyzed in detail from the software and hardware systems. The results show that the system is stable and reliable, which can detect and monitor the equipment of coal preparation plant in real time, and can meet the fault diagnosis and detection requirements of coal preparation plant equipment..
