Objective:To observe the effects of insistent rehabilitation exercise tranining on coronary artery restenosis in patients with coronary heart disease(CHD)post PTCA.Methods:Analysis the reationship between rehabilitation exercise and restenosis of coronary artery by using two methods:calculating the intensity of physical activity and exer- cise, exercise ability in METs and energy expenditure in kcal during the observation period.comparing the results of coronary artery angiography in 39 patients before PTCA and 6~12 months after PTCA.Results:The patients with obstructive degree>70% of LAD for 2 patients and of RCA for 1 patient respectively in 21 patients who entered the regular rehabilitation exercise training program. The obstructive degree>70% of LAD for 5 patients of RCA for 6 pa- tients, and of LCX for 1 patient in 18 patients who did not insist the rehabilitation exercise program. Conclusion:The results indicated that insisting the regular rehabilitation exercise in patients with CHD can reduce the restenosis post PTCA..
