Akute und chronische Graft-versus-Host Reaktionen stellen schwerwiegende Komplikationen bei der Behandlung einer malignen Erkrankung des hämatopoetischen Systems durch eine allogene Blutstammzelltransplantation dar. Auch in der Situation der HLA-kompatiblen Transplantation kommt es in ca. 15 % der Fälle zu einer akuten GvHD Grad III/IV, die mit erheblicher Morbidität und Mortalität assoziiert ist. Um die Wahrscheinlichkeit für das Auftreten einer schweren GvHD nach einer Stammzelltransplantation besser einschätzen zu können, ist es notwendig, über die aktuell bekannten klinischen Risikofakt....
Acute and chronic graft-versus-host reactions (GvHD) remain serious complications of allogeneic blood stem cell transplantation in the treatment of hematologic malignancies. Even in the case of HLA-compatible transplantations, a severe acute graft-versus-host response occurs in about 15% of cases, leading to significant morbidity and mortality. Prevention and treatment of GvHD remains inadequate, commonly leading to end-organ dysfunction and opportunistic infection.
