FIFO stands for Festival International du Film Documentaire Ocâeanien (International Festival of Oceanic Documentary Films). Created in 2004, the festival features documentaries on the theme of 'Oceania', an important goal being to promote the southern Pacific region for its diversity and authenticity. FIFO has been influential in developing the audio-visual sector in this part of the world. It brings together most of the region's industry professionals: producers, technicians, directors, television channels and foreign film festival representatives..
