Angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors : a review of the comparative clinical and cost-effectiveness
This purpose of this report is to update a 2008 CADTH Rapid Response report on the comparative clinical and cost-effectiveness of angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors. In addition, it aims to examine the effectiveness of the combination of ACE inhibitors and diuretics compared to ACE inhibitors alone. The finding of this report can help produce clinical evidence as well as policy directions on the best and optimum use of individual ACE inhibitors for hypertension (HTN), heart failure (HF), myocardial infarction (MI), and diabetic nephropathy..
