Lokalisation, Prorenin, Protonenpumpe, Renin, Rezeptor, Überexpression, (P)RR/ATP6ap2, paradoxe Downregulation, vakuoläre H+-ATPase.
The localization of the (P)RR/ATP6ap2 in PC12 cancer cells of neuronal origin, cardial and renal cells and tissues as well as the functional consequences after downregulation or overexpression (paradox downregulation) of the receptor has been examined. It shows both an ER-specific, membrane-associated localisation and a localization in the soluble fraction. As an accessory subunit of the vacuolar H+‑ATPase influences the receptor its integrity and activity. The diversity of different data between the PC12 cells treated with a V-ATPase-inhibitor and downregulated (P)RR/ATP6ap2 elucidates that the function of the (P)RR/ATP6ap2 exceeds a mere regulation of the V-ATPase-activity, especially in metabolism, and is probably determined through the integration of the (P)RR/ATP6ap2 in the Wnt-pathway..
