POSITRON EMISSION TOMOGRAPHY AGENT FOR IMAGING VULNERABLE ATHEROSCLEROTIC PLAQUE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
The present invention relates to a compound labeled with a radioactive isotope used in positron emission tomography (PET), for imaging an atherosclerotic plaque, which is a cause of a cardio-cerebrovascular disease, and to a manufacturing method, and to an application thereof. More specifically, two to four peptides which are labeled with the radioactive isotope, and capable of selectively targeting the atherosclerotic plaque are combined, with a small amount and for a short period of time, to an arterial plaque in arteries in which blood flows fast. Therefore, the present invention relates to the compound which can produce excellent PET images, to the manufacturing method, and to the application thereof..
